Check out the best of two-time World Cup winner Alex Morgan's Orlando Pride career, and catch the NWSL on ESPN starting July 14.

Alex Morgan will miss the rest of the NWSL season for the Orlando Pride due to a patella stress reaction in her right knee.

Morgan appeared in six matches for the National Women's Soccer League team this season, four before the World Cup and two since.

Australia star Sam Kerr at home in NWSL, but for how long?

Matildas captain and star striker Sam Kerr sits down with ESPN to share her journey from Aussie rules to soccer and what coming home to Perth truly means.

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- A little more than two years before she cradled the World Cup trophy in the same stadium, Alex Morgan attempted a quieter exit in Lyon. Family, friends and everything familiar were...

Sources: Wanderers to sign NWSL MVP Williams

ESPN understands that rival Australian side Melbourne City had also been engaged in talks with Williams to join the club from the beginning of the 2019-20 season but are now resigned to being comfortably outbid by Western Sydney.

Though she has never played in the W-League, Williams maintained her fitness by training with City during the 2018-19 W-League...

Van Wyk, who is South Africa's most capped international footballer, male or female, played at this year's Women's World Cup in France, but has been without a pro deal since leaving the Houston Dash at the end of the last NWSL season.

She spent two terms with the Dash before parting ways, and returned home to play with her own club, JvW FC, which...

Portland Thorns, Chicago Red Stars lead NWSL into break

With the exception of one game, the 2019 NWSL season will step aside for an international break after the Chicago Red Stars and Portland Thorns conclude this week's schedule (ESPNEWS, 3 p.m. ET Sunday) in a showdown between teams currently occupying first and second place.

While many of the league's players will stay busy in the interim with the U.S. national team's Victory Tour, Euro 2021 qualifying or the U-23 Nordic Tournament in England, the break is one last pause in the stretch run. By the...
