Luis Suarez played down the significance of his five-game goal drought after he scored twice in Barcelona's derby win over Espanyol on Saturday.

The Uruguayan striker scored the first and last goals in a 3-0 win as Barca moved back to the top of La Liga, jumping ahead of Real Madrid, who had beaten Valencia earlier in the day.

They were Suarez's first goals in six appearances in all competitions -- his longest drought in his Barcelona career -- and took his tally to 26 in the league this season.
