Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas set to return against Tottenham

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas is set to start Tuesday's Champions League game against Tottenham at the Bernabeu after returning to training following a muscle problem.

Navas suffered the adductor muscle injury while playing for Costa Rica during the international break, with Kiko Casilla deputising in Saturday's win at Getafe.

But he was back in training at Valdebebas on Sunday, putting him in line to return to action against Spurs.

A Madrid statement issued after the training session said: "The big news was the return of Keylor Navas. [Gareth] Bale, [Dani] Carvajal and [Mateo] Kovacic continued their recovery processes."

Last week, Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said he would assess the fitness of Navas day-by-day ahead of the Spurs game.

At Getafe, Zidane gave 17-year-old keeper Moha Ramos a place on the bench.

Meanwhile, he said Bale was "better every day" as he recovered from his most recent injury setback.
