FC Tokyo starlet Jakkit Wachpirom becomes first Thai to score in J.League

John Wilkinson and Jason Dasey speak on Jay Bothroyd and Chanathip Songkrasin helping Consadole Sapporo avoid relegation.

FC Tokyo Under-23 winger Jakkit Wachpirom has made history as the first Thai to score in the J.League, a feat that has so far eluded his more celebrated compatriot Chanathip Songkrasin.

Jakkit, on loan at the J3 club from Bangkok United, side footed home from an angle in the first minute of Sunday's 2-1 victory over Cerezo Osaka U23.

Antlers' final game of the season is away to Jubilo Iwata on Dec. 2, while Kawasaki are...

Bothroyd suffered a blackout during a training session that caused great concern among teammates and saw him rushed to hospital. But the ex-Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers striker was soon released and explained that it was "nothing serious".

The 35-year-old put his health problems firmly to one side as...

Ex-England striker Jay Bothroyd suffers blackout on Japan pitch

Jason Dasey and PJ Roberts assess Chanathip Songkrasin's move to the J-League and what to expect moving forward.

Former England International striker Jay Bothroyd is recovering in hospital in Japan after collapsing and suffering a blackout while training with J.League side Consadole Sapporo on Saturday.

Bothroyd, 35, is a teammate of Thailand international Chanathip Songkrasin in Sapporo, and the news of the ex-Cardiff City forward was first reported by Thai media outlet Siam Sport.

Thirty minutes into the side's training session, Bothroyd experienced convulsions, and required 10 minutes of intensive...
