Arsenal have now moved into second in the Prem table, but the FC panel are skeptical if anyone can threaten Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger apologises for his tirade after being frustrated with the late penalty awarded to Burnley.

Here are the latest stories for Monday.

ARSENALArsene Wenger has apologised for his behaviour toward the end of Arsenal's dramatic 2-1 win over Burnley, in which he appeared to push the fourth official after being sent to the stands. But the FA has charged him with misconduct.

- Former referees Keith Hackett and Graham Poll are calling for Wenger to get a lengthy ban for pushing the fourth official on Sunday.

Arsenal will be without Granit Xhaka for next month's showdown...

Man City can build on Spurs draw, Real lose margin for error, Rooney's record

The FC crew debate the Prem's most high profile match of the weekend, and finally give Pep Guardiola some tactical credit.

Pep Guardiola says that he draws more satisfaction from performance than results. That being the case, there was a lot to cheer against Tottenham on Saturday.

Their previous three Premier League outings had seen Manchester City defeated by Liverpool and Everton, with a victory over Burnley (albeit after a disastrous first half) sandwiched in between. The risk that Spurs, who had comprehensively defeated them (in terms of results and performance) when they played back in October, could upend them...

Going to the Etihad Stadium hasn't been fun for Manchester City fans for some time. There are exceptions, of course, but generally speaking matches have been difficult to watch for a number of reasons.

Perhaps the results were not what supporters were hoping for. City's home record under Roberto Mancini was excellent -- with only nine defeats in the manager's 94 games at Eastlands. It slipped a little under Manuel Pellegrini, who lost 16 of his 84 home matches. Overall, there's been a downward trend...

Premier League title race set for dramatic finish despite Chelsea lead

Arsenal have now moved into second in the Prem table, but the FC panel are skeptical if anyone can threaten Chelsea.

But for an Alexis Sanchez penalty, eight minutes into stoppage time, to give Arsenal a 2-1 win against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, Chelsea may well have started planning for their Premier League title parade in SW6.

Until Sanchez denied Burnley a dramatic late point with his contentious spot-kick, it had been the perfect weekend for the Stamford Bridge side.

Before Antonio Conte's players had even kicked a ball, Liverpool had suffered their first home defeat in 12 months, 3-2 against...

Kompany, Toure and Manchester City stars race roosters for Chinese New Year

To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year later this month, Manchester City had several of their players race roosters in a pen outside their stadium.

Manchester City vs. Tottenham: Pep's men press but wasteful in attack

The ESPN FC crew looks back at the key points from Manchester City's draw with Tottenham.
The ESPN FC crew looks back at the key points from Manchester City's draw with Tottenham.

Tottenham snatched a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Etihad on Saturday, where Manchester City were dominant but wasteful. Pep Guardiola long appeared to have outmanoeuvred Mauricio Pochettino, only to see Spurs come from 2-0 down to draw following a remarkable second half spell.

As ever, the two managers came out fighting, using adventurous game plans that featured fervent pressing and high defensive lines. Pochettino's system looked perilous, the wing-backs closing down City's and putting...
