Aston Villa full back Alan Hutton wrapped up a 3-1 come-from-behind win at Hull City with a mazy dribble and clinical finish to seal the points in their Championship opener on Monday.

Hutton ran through the home defence and fired in the third goal -- his first since December 2014 -- to delight manager Steve Bruce after a tough period off the pitch at the Midlands club.

Villa fell behind after seven minutes through Evandro but Tommy Elphick equalised with a header in the 14th before Ahmed Elmohamady...

U.S. defender Eric Lichaj completes transfer to Hull City

Nottingham Forest's Eric Lichaj posts a picture with his new canine friend, Marcus Rashford shows off his silky moves in Dubai and more in the Sweeper.

United States international defender Eric Lichaj completed his move to Hull City from Nottingham Forest on Friday.

As reported by ESPN FC earlier this month, Forest were willing to sell the 29-year-old as he entered the final year of his contract.

He has now signed a two-year contract with fellow Championship club Hull, who hold an option for a third season.

"I'm excited about playing here and I'm looking forward to getting started with preseason next week," Lichaj said in a statement. "It's a fresh...

Hull City in advanced talks to land USMNT's Eric Lichaj - sources

Nottingham Forest's Eric Lichaj posts a picture with his new canine friend, Marcus Rashford shows off his silky moves in Dubai and more in the Sweeper.

Nottingham Forest's United States international defender Eric Lichaj is closing in on a move to Championship rivals Hull City, sources say.

Lichaj's future at Forest has been the subject of conjecture this summer with the player entering the final year of his contract at the City Ground.

The 29-year-old, who started for the U.S. in last month's friendly with Bolivia, is in search of regular first-team football, and sources said Hull are in advanced talks with Forest over a deal for Lichaj and...

Brentford and Hull shared the Sky Bet Championship spoils in a well contested clash between two sides with nothing to play for.

The Bees broke the deadlock after 12 minutes at Griffin Park when the Hull defence failed to deal with a cross from the right and the ball found its way to Sergi Canos, whose glancing header crept inside the far post.

But Hull's goal in the 1-1 draw came almost on the stroke of half-time when Jarrod Bowen steered former Bee Jon Toral's headed pass just inside the upright.

LAFC signs Hull City forward Adama Diomande

Hull City forward Adama Diomande has joined Major League Soccer side LAFC, the club announced on Wednesday.

Diomande, who will occupy an international roster spot, was to be out of contract this summer but the club released him early so he could make the move to the United States.

The move to LAFC sees Diomande link up again with coach Bob Bradley after having worked with him at Norwegian club Stabaek.

"We are excited to add Adama to our Club," said LAFC general manager John Thorrington. "Adama...
