Borussia Dortmund fans sing You'll Never Walk Alone at players

Borussia Dortmund just about maintained their narrow lead at the summit of the Bundesliga table with a 2-2 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening.

However, the Dortmund convoy took a while to get home from the Commerzbank-Arena when the team bus became snarled up in a traffic jam on the journey back from Frankfurt.

Thankfully, a flock of Dortmund fans made sure that the players' spirits didn't dip en route by serenading the bus with a stirring rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone"...

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang isolated, defence collapses vs. Frankfurt

Peter Bosz discussed Borussia Dortmund's disappointing week having lost to RB Leipzig and drawn against APOEL Nicosia in the Champions League.

FRANKFURT, Germany -- Borussia Dortmund's lead at the top of the table melts away like a popsicle in the Sahara Desert, as they drew 2-2 away to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday after throwing away a 2-0 lead. Bayern Munich can close the once five-point gap with a win against Hamburg.

Dortmund must overcome stale play and fatigue to right ship vs. Frankfurt

Peter Bosz discussed Borussia Dortmund's disappointing week having lost to RB Leipzig and drawn against APOEL Nicosia in the Champions League.

DORTMUND, Germany -- "A win [in Frankfurt] would be good for the table and for the atmosphere," Borussia Dortmund manager Peter Bosz said at Friday's news conference ahead of Saturday's game. Yes, the atmosphere surrounding Dortmund has become somewhat gloomy after only one win in four games across competitions.

The season of a football club -- or any sports team to be true -- often is similar to the mood swings of a teenager. Just weeks ago, the Black and Yellows were celebrated for resounding...

Bayern back on track, Leipzig fancy a European run, Dortmund's costly draw

Despite a win over Celtic, Jupp Heynckes says Bayern still left much to be desired both offensively and defensively.

Matchday 3 at last brought the first wins for the German contingent in the Champions League and underlined the recent return to form of RB Leipzig and FC Bayern Munich. For Borussia Dortmund, however, the 1-1 draw at APOEL has had the opposite effect: the Black and Yellows are beginning to wonder about their football's true quality in light of four unconvincing games (three defeats, one narrow win at Augsburg) on the trot.

Roman Burki, Dortmund come up short at APOEL in costly draw

Sokratis Papastathopoulos came to the rescue for Borussia Dortmund with an equaliser to force a draw with Apoel Nicosia.

Borussia Dortmund can wave their hopes to qualify for the round of 16 of the Champions League goodbye after a disastrous performance away to APOEL. A 1-1 draw in Nicosia means that the Black and Yellows only have theoretical chances to catch one of Real Madrid or Tottenham but after Matchday 3 in the Champions League there is nothing to suggest that they would deserve to be among Europe's best 16 teams.

On Tuesday night, there was nothing left of a Dortmund team that has regularly steamrolled...

Julian Weigl could be the subject of a bidding war between Barcelona and Manchester City this summer.

Julian Weigl may have signed a new contract with Borussia Dortmund in December, but that hasn't stopped two European giants from keeping a watchful eye on the young midfielder.

According to AS, Barcelona and Manchester City are both monitoring the 22-year-old, whose new deal continues through 2021.

Barca believe that Weigl could fit their style of play and be a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets as the cornerstone of their midfield, the report states. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola has told director...
