Feb 16 (Reuters) - Monaco beat Nantes 1-0 to record their second home win of the season in Ligue 1 on Saturday to move out of the relegation zone for the first time since September.

Leonardo Jardim's return as coach at the end of January has sparked a turnaround in fortunes for the principality, who have now won two and drawn one of their last three league games.

Cesc Fabregas netted his first goal with Monaco to give the struggling principality side their first Ligue 1 win in seven games as they beat visiting Toulouse 2-1 on Saturday.

While the 23-year-old set up a late winning goal shortly after coming off the bench at Fulham on Jan. 20, he disappointed when handed a rare start against Crystal...

Ten-man Monaco were knocked out of the Coupe de la Ligue semifinals by Guingamp, losing 5-4 on penalties after the game had ended in a 2-2 draw in Leonardo Jardim's first match back in charge on Tuesday.

Strugglers Monaco went 2-0 up despite being one man down early on, but finished the match exhausted as Guingamp forced a shootout to reach the final against either Strasbourg or Bordeaux in Lille on March 30.

Monaco's William Vainqueur was sent off after 14 minutes for a dangerous tackle but the...
