Sources told ESPN FC that Wenger was set to take up a technical role  at world football's governing body but still has hope of returning to club management.

On his new role at FIFA, the former Arsenal manager...

Patrick Vieira defends Granit Xhaka: 'He deserves a lot of respect'

The FC crew are flabbergasted that Granit Xhaka said "he cannot play" against Leicester.
Steve Nicol and Craig Burley disagree with Arsenal's directors who continue to back manager Unai Emery.
Craig Burley calls Unai Emery and Arsenal "weak" for having made ever made Granit Xhaka captain of the club.

Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira has defended Granit Xhaka after the midfielder lost the armband in the wake of his outburst towards the club's supporters last month.

Xhaka reacted angrily to home fans booing him after he was substituted during Arsenal's 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium and the player has since been left out of the squad.

"I feel sorry for him because he [was] the captain and he's going through a really difficult period and really difficult time at Arsenal," Vieira told British...
