Yannick Carrasco, Dalian Yifang
Yannick Carrasco earned Dalian Yifang a draw against Jiangsu Suning.

Jiangsu Suning missed the chance to move into the Chinese Super League's top four after Yannick Carrasco's late penalty secured Dalian Yifang a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Alex Teixeira had given Cosmin Olaroiu's side the lead just after the hour mark, and a win would have seen the Nanjing-based club leapfrog Shandong Luneng into fourth with eight games of the season gone.

But Carrasco's spot kick -- awarded when the video assistant referee confirmed Tian Yinong had handled Marek Hamsik's free kick into...

The Spaniard gave Beijing the lead with less than two minutes on the clock when he stabbed the ball home...

Shanghai Shenhua thrash Beijing Renhe to maintain perfect Chinese Super League start

Odion Ighalo helped Shanghai Shenhua to victory against Beijing Renhe.

Odion Ighalo struck twice as Shanghai Shenhua thrashed Beijing Renhe 5-1 on Sunday, a second straight Chinese Super League victory for Quique Sanchez Flores' side.

Shenhua followed up last week's victory over Henan Jianye with a comprehensive win in which they raced into a three-goal lead by the 35th minute thanks to efforts from Giovanni Moreno, Fredy Guarin and Ighalo.

Ighalo added Shenhua's fourth midway through the second half with a cheeky back-heel and Zhang Lu scored the fifth 10 minutes...
